Curiosity and Thinking: Why Science Belongs in Early Childhood

mar15-providermtgMarch 2015 Provider Meeting: Problem solving and inquiry is the foundation of a young child’s learning. Children are natural problem solvers. The early childhood setting is where children are provided opportunities to learn to value different kinds of thinking, think creatively and logically, and interact with the world around them. Come join Frannie Smith, PNNL’s early learning science and literacy community outreach specialist as she presents activities that provide young children the opportunity to see problems in different ways, generate new ideas, and use materials in unique ways.

Thank you, Amy Ford of Brashear Electric for sponsoring this professional development.
